Since its release, the game has been receiving regular updates. Most of these have been along the lines of bug fixes and balancing changes, but their newest update, the “Stellar Prisoner”, has a bit more to offer. The game’s AI received a change, helping it to analyze truces and alliances more effectively, and political traits were modified to appropriately affect political events.
Besides the performance upgrades and bug fixes, the “Stellar Prisoner” update includes a few tidbits of new content. Two new heroes, a new quest, two new planets, and a new node (the Neutron Star) are the main additions. These additions might not drastically alter Endless Space 2’s gameplay, but they will give players some fun new options.
With all of these improvements to the game, it might be time to check it out for yourself. Endless Space 2 is available on Steam for $39.99, or $49.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition.
