The Pet System allows you to adopt and raise Pets that can boost the acquisition rate of rewards you can get in the game, in addition to letting you farm a Stage repeatedly by Repeat Battling. There are also Pets that accompany your Characters in the lobby and will give you tons of random rewards – although you cannot use them to Auto-Repeat Stages. Pets that you can take with you to Auto-Repeat battles are aptly called Battle Pets, while those you cannot are called Lobby Pets.
How Do You Unlock Auto-Repeat?
The Auto-Repeat System (or Repeat Battling) is automatically unlocked once you hit Account Level 45. You will be shown a brief but informative tutorial about the Pet System then, so don’t forget to pay attention – since it will show you how to manage your Pets by adopting them, leveling them up, and more While Account Level 45 might seem far away, all you really need to do is clear the Story Stages as much as you can and you’ll be there in no time. Also, you might want to do some Boss Hunts (preferably Wyvern Hunts) regularly if you want to get to Level 45 sooner.
Repeat Battling Settings Overview
The Settings Page of the Repeat Battling System is pretty simple. You’ll only have 4 main settings to go through:
Restart Battle When Defeated – Restarts the battle after every loss until the Repeat Battling Limit has been reached. When left unchecked, the Repeat Battling will stop as soon as you lose a battle. End Repeat Battle after Hero Reaches Max Level – Ends Repeat Battling after any unit in the Party reaches max level. If left unchecked, the Auto-Repeat will continue regardless of whether or not a Character in your party reached their level cap. Auto Charge Energy – Recharges your Stamina automatically during the Repeat Battling Session by consuming the resource you’ve selected. Repeat Battling Limit – Determines the number of times a Stage will be repeatedly cleared. You can set the limit up to a set amount, and this amount can only be raised by increasing your Pet’s Grade.
Auto Charge Energy (Options)
The Auto Charge Energy setting is divided into options that’ll allow you to choose which resource you’re willing to consume for Stamina in case you run out of them mid-battle. The four options are as follows:
Do Not Charge – Does not consume any resources for Stamina. The Repeat Battling session will end as soon as you run out of Stamina. Recharge Energy: Skystone – Consumes 30 Skystones for 60 Stamina every time you run out of Stamina during the Repeat Battling session. Recharge Energy: Leif – Consumes one Leif for 80 Stamina every time you run out of Stamina during the Repeat Battling session. Recharge Energy: All Resources – Consumes both Skystones and Leifs to restore your Stamina. Leifs take priority and are consumed first in this option.
Accessing the Auto-Battling Settings Page
You can access the Settings Page of a Pet by clicking on your Pet Slot at the start of every battle, as highlighted on the image below. Alternatively, you can also access the settings mid-battle by clicking or tapping on the cog icon, shown below: The settings you modify will go into effect immediately no matter how or when you access the Repeat Battling Settings, so feel free to do it whichever way you like.
Recommended Settings
In general, it would be advisable to have your Restart Battle Setting on and your End Repeat Battling off. Doing this will ensure that your farming session won’t be cut short — unless of course you’re just leveling up units via Repeat Battles, or if you’re not confident in clearing the Stage consistently. As for the Auto Charge setting, you’d most likely want to avoid the “Use Skystones” and “Use All Resources” options, as using these can deplete your precious Skystones quickly if you’re not careful. You can make exceptions whenever you need to (like when there’s an ongoing Event for example) but using Leifs or not recharging your Stamina at all are by far the two safest options out of the four.
