Every piece of the Speed Set can be made from scratch by collecting Drake Claws of varying rarity and crafting in the Steel Workshop. Gold is the only other resource you need to craft Speed Sets – and it can get pretty expensive, so make sure you have enough before crafting.
Wyvern Hunt
Wyvern Hunt is divided into 13 Stages. The higher the Stage you can clear, the better the loot that you can acquire. The drops in Wyvern Hunts are exclusively centered around either of these three sets:
Critical Set – boosts Critical Hit Rate by 12% per 2 pieces equipped. Hit Set – boosts Effectiveness by 20% per 2 pieces equipped. Speed Set – boosts speed by 25% per 4 pieces equipped.
Besides Crafting Materials, Hunts Stages may drop other things such as Bookmarks, Skystones, Powder of Knowledge, Ancient Dragon’s Heart, Manifestation Stone, and even Stamina. Of course, you can also get Equipment Set pieces as drops from Hunts, though their rarity is highly dependent on RNG.
Recommended Units
For Wyvern Hunts, it’s highly recommended to only use Ice Element Heroes in your Party to take advantage of the Boss’s Weakness. Typically, you’ll need four main roles to consider when choosing Heroes to take in Wyvern Hunts. They are as follows:
Frontline Tank General Buffer/Debuffer Main DPS Secondary DPS
Here are some of the best Heroes for Wyvern Hunts – sorted according to their roles:
Best F2P Team Composition
If you don’t have most of the heroes listed above, then worry not — you can easily build a Wyvern team with F2P Heroes that can be obtained even by beginner players. Frontline Tank: Montmorancy or Crozet Debuffer: Furious or Taranor Guard Main DPS: Alexa Secondary DPS: Mistychain With this team, you can go as far as Repeat Battling Wyvern 11 within the first few weeks as a beginner. Perhaps even Wyvern 12 or 13 if you get lucky with your Equipment Rolls.
Artifact Recommendations
For Artifacts, the only thing you need to know is that Daydream Joker works wonders for your DPS units. Prophetic Candlestick, on the other hand, is an excellent Artifact for your Frontline Tank. There are plenty of better Artifacts out there that you may want to try out. But for beginners with very few resources, these two low-grade Artifacts are unrivaled in their usefulness in Wyvern Hunt.
Wyvern Combat Tips
For each Wyvern Stage, there are different mobs and bosses with varying degrees of strength. The higher you go, the harder the fight will be. In the Boss Waves of the highest stages (especially Wyvern 13), try to keep at least 2 Debuffs on the Wyvern to keep its aggro exclusively on your Frontline Tank. Defense Break is also by far the best debuff that you can apply on Wyverns, as it makes it much easier for your DPS heroes to whittle down their health. Another thing to note is that Wyverns also enter a “Barrier Phase” where they will self-generate a shield after doing an AOE attack. They lower their own speed upon entering this phase, but you must remove the Barrier as fast as you can because if you don’t, Wyverns will execute a high-damage AOE attack that may wipe your entire team in one go.
Repeat Battling Tips
Battle Pets will allow you to automatically run Wyvern Hunt Stages. You unlock the Pet System at Account Rank 45. One important thing to note is to try to bring Battle Pets with Hunt-Specific Skills on them, because they will significantly improve your farming efficiency. For convenience’s sake, turn off the “End Repeat Battling after Hero reaches Max Level” setting. Also, turn on the “Restart Battle when Defeated” setting, as you may lose a few runs even in Wyvern Stages that you can easily clear manually.
Events For Speed Sets
Events are another way to acquire Speed Sets in E7. While it is rare, some of them give away high-level Speed Sets completely out of the bat, no questions asked! Not only that, but some of these giveaway Speed Sets actually have great base Substats on them — making them entirely worthy of investment. So remember to watch out for Events – because you never know when these free Speed Sets might drop!
